Hololens for visualizing terrestrial lidar scans

One of our colleagues, Dr. Paulo Raposo, is also heavily involved with augmented reality, but instead of a SimTable or sandbox, he’s been using a Microsoft HoloLens. He partnered with another professor here at UTK, Dr. Robert Washington-Allen, to visualize lidar scans from Mozambique in the HoloLens.
